Psychological direction that began in Germany in the early of 20 century. (from German it' means - structure, image, shape and configuration). The main representatives of this direction, such as M. Wertheimer, W. Keller and Koffka, Levin, created science to confront structuralism. Branch of psychology that studies the cognitive processes of the human psyche. Research in this area is usually related to issues of memory, attention, feelings, reporting, logical thinking, imagination and the ability to make decisions. The direction in psychology in 20 century, which studies human behavior and ways to influence human behavior. In 1913 there was the first program of behaviorism, formulated by the American psychologist John Watson.

child psychology - is one of the many branches of psychology and one of the most frequently studied specialty areas. This particular branch focuses on the mind and behavior of children from prenatal developmentthrough adolescence. Child psychology deals not only with how children grow physically, but with their mental, emotional and social development as well.

social psychology - i s a branch of psychology that studies cognitive, affective, and behavioral processes of individuals as influenced by their group membership and interactions, and other factors that affect social life, such associal status, role, and social class. Social psychology examines the effects of social contacts on the development ofattitudes, stereotypes, and so forth.

 

Psychologist - is a practitioner of psychology, the systematicinvestigation of the mind, including behavior, cognition, and affect. The two major categories of psychologists arethose who conduct scientific research and those who work in an applied psychology area. Applied psychologists arefurther subdivided into a number of mental health and other professions, the most well-recognized being clinical andcounseling psychologists. Doctoral level trained psychologists are also the experts in the provision/administrationand interpretation of psychological tests and assessment.
