«Утешитель, Которого Христос обещал послать после Своего восхождения на небо, — это Дух во всей полноте Божества, являющий силу Божьей благодати всем, кто принимает Христа верой как своего личного Спасителя» (В небесных обителях, с. 336).

«Святой Дух есть Личность, иначе Он не мог бы свидетельствовать духу нашему и вместе с нашим духом, что мы — дети Божьи. Святой Дух должен быть именно Божественной Личностью, иначе Он не мог бы знать тайны, скрытые в разуме Бога» (Евангелизм, с. 617).

«Дух должен оказывать возрождающее влияние, а без Него жертва Христа была бы напрасной. Влияние зла увеличивается на протяжении многих веков, и поразительно, с какой покорностью люди отдаются в рабство сатане. Греху можно сопротивляться и противостоять только благодаря могущественному влиянию Третьей Личности Божества, Духа Святого, Которая проявляет Себя не в видоизмененной энергии, но во всей полноте Божественной силы, очищающей сердце. Дух делает действенным все, что совершил Искупитель мира. Посредством Духа верующий становится причастником Божеского естества. Христос даровал нам Свой Дух как Божественную силу для победы над всеми унаследованными и приобретенными наклонностями ко злу и запечатления Своего характера в Своей Церкви» (Желание веков, с. 671).
