Theme: “How much time have you got? ”

Main aims:
Educational:

· Introduce and practice the speech samples of quantity: how much, much, lots of, how many, many, lots of, any, some: How much many have you got? I haven’t got much money. We’ve got lots of money. I haven’t got many pencils. I’ve got lots of pencils. Have you got any newspapers? We haven’t got any newspapers. But we have got some magazines;

· Assist to complete sentences with the correct expression of quantity;

· Assist to use “some”и “any”;

Train to use some and any in the context of the song.

Developing:

· Assist to develop the confidence and competence to communicate effectively in English;

· Assist to develop memory, logical thinking, imagination and attention.

Upbringing: - to help to develop as a person;

· Help to develop the positive attitude to learning English as a foreign language to children;

· Help to join in new social sphere and experience;

· Help to develop skills and abilities in the intellectual work;

(focuses Ps attention on the picture and the example sentences in the grammar boxes) T. (asks them to identify positive, negative, and question forms) - What sentence is negative? -What sentence is positive? -What sentence is question form? T. (asks two Ps to read the speech bubbles to the class) - P, please read the fist sentences to the class. - P, please read the second sentences to the class.   T. (reads the rules aloud to the class and checks Ps understand and gives Ps a minute to study the different forms silently) T. (ask Ps to give their examples of countable and uncountable nouns. - Give the examples of countable and uncountable nouns. T. writes them on the board in two columns. (asks one P to read the speech bubble to the class and checks that Ps understand the exercise.) T. –Do the exercise individually! T.(goes through the answers with the class) (answers: 1. She hasn’t got much luggage. 2. They’ve got lots of food. 3. He’s got lots of time. 4. He hasn’t got much money. 5. They haven’t got lots of passports.) III. Speaking T. (asks Ps to write the sentences in Ex4 in their notebooks) - Write the sentences in Ex4 in the notebook! T.(asks Ps to work in pairs. They take turns to read their sentences to their partner in random order. Their partner points to the correct picture for each sentence.) T.
