My yesterday’s day

Hello! I’m a second-year student and my name is Anton. I’m glad to tell you about my studies at the university. So, this is a story about one of my working days.

I am glad to say, it was a happy day for me yesterday. I got up late, at 7 o’clock in the morning. But usually I get up at 25 minutes to 7. I looked through the window as I wanted to know what kind of weather was outside. But I saw nothing because it was dark. I opened the window because I like fresh air but I had no time to do my morning exercises. So, I went to the bathroom, washed with cold water and of course cleaned the teeth. Then I dressed and at 15 minutes past 7 I had breakfast.

Mother cooked it for me yesterday. But if I have enough time, I cook it myself. When I looked at the watch after breakfast it was already half past seven. It was time for me to be at the bus stop. I put on my jacket and a cap, took my bag and ran to the bus stop. I was lucky because I wasn’t late. It usually takes me half an hour to get to the university and I was there in time.

The bus was full of people. Some of them went to their work but there were a lot of students on the bus as well. I met some of my university friends there and only then I learnt about a test in Russian history. As I didn’t know about it I wasn’t ready for it of course. I like lectures in history when somebody tells us something interesting about it. But I don’t like to learn anything as well as make any notes at the lectures. I was glad to learn that one of my friends did all the sums in maths. I am not so bad at this subject. When I took my first exam in it last year I passed it well. But I am sorry to say, it’s sometimes difficult for me to do the sums which are not simple enough. So my friend gave me his maths homework for coping off because we all help one another. Of course it’s not the best kind of help. But what to do in such cases? Who knows?

The first lesson yesterday was Russian history. Everybody was present at this lesson. But our history teacher was not quite well, that’s why we had no test. We were glad because nobody was ready for it well enough. At the maths lesson, which was the next one, the teacher asked me a lot of questions. I was ready to answer them because I had all the tasks and the teacher didn’t correct my answers. As a result, I got a good mark.

The next lesson was English. It’s a simple subject for me. First we took a test on words. Then we read and translated a new text and after that we wrote an exercise where we answered the questions in English. As I am good at English I never make any mistakes and I always answer any questions correctly. So I helped everyone who asked me for help. Everybody was glad but not the teacher. She told us that it was wrong to copy off the tasks. Maybe, she was right. She spoke English to us about our studies, that’s way we understood nothing.

At last our classes were over. When I was at home again I first of all had a good rest after a difficult working day because I was tired. I had dinner and then went for a walk with my dog. After that I did all my lessons for the next day. And I did them very well. I was lucky at the classes yesterday, but it’s impossible to be lucky every day. I finished all the work quite late because I did my course paper as well. Thus, I went to bed only at midnight.
