THE VERB FORMS.

There are four forms of the verb (except modal verbs) in the English language that

can be used separately or come together and become connected with the verbs “to be” or “to have”: to be + ing, to have been +ing, to be + 3ф.гл., to have+3ф.гл Their names are:

a. the Infinitive (неопределенная форма глагола)

b. the Past Simple (форма прошедшего времени)

c. the Past Participle (причастие прошедшего времени)

d. the Present Participle (причастие настоящего времени)
