Terms of the Competition

Audition of the I (qualifying) Round is held in February-March, 2014 in absentia by DVD-records sent to the Organizing Committee before February 20, 2014.

Together with the DVD-records the following documents should be sent:

- legibly filled in application form (according to sample);

- copy of the birth certificate;

- copy of the document confirming the fact of entrance fee payment;

- a reference letter from the educational institution of the participant certified by the authorities (of the city or region) in the sphere of culture. Address, telephone number, fax and e-mail of the recommending institution should be obligatory pointed out in the letter.

The application should be duplicated on e-mail of the House of Music Named after S.V. Rachmaninoff. Also s everal participant’s electronic photos in good quality should be sent to the same electronic address. The photos will be used for creating slide-show and printing an almanac.

Notes:

1. The Organizing Committee is not liable for the loss of documents during its transfer.

2. The complete details of the teacher’s passport, retirement insurance certificate data and ITIN (individual taxpayer identification number) should be obligatory pointed out in the application.

3. Also e-mail should be obligatory pointed out in order to provide operative communication.

Financial Terms

An entrance fee is set in order to pay Competition organizing and conducting expenses which are not covered by the budget estimates.

The registration fee of 3000 rubles for the participants from Russia is transferred to the account of the House of Music Named after S.V. Rachmaninoff simultaneously with sending of the DVD. For foreign participants the registration fee is 65 euros recalculated into Russian rubles.

Participants and their teachers pay for the transportation to Veliky Novgorod and back at their own expense or at the forwarding side’s expense. Accommodation and food are also paid for on their own. Foreign participants obtain passports and visas on their own.
