PROVISIONS

Goals and responsibilities

· To popularizekettlebellsportwithinSaintPetersburg, Russia, andabroad;

· To lead the development of spiritual and physical growth among youths;

· To determine the strongest athletes in various competitive categories;

· Todetermine the strongest team in the various disciplines and the absolute strongest team according to the “Grand Prix”.

· To develop club activity in kettlebell sport.

 

Duration and venue

CompetitionVenue: St. Petersburg, Russia. Ushinskovo Street, building 10.

Dates of competition: May 9th through 11th, 2014.

Arrival and registration date: May 8th, 2014

Weigh-ins and flight determinations: May 8th 6: 00-8: 00 pm; May 9th9: 00-11: 00 am.

Competition start time: May 9th at 12: 00 pm, May 10th and 11th at 11: 00 am.

Award Distribution and Departure of Athletes: May11that 6pm.

Governing Body

The competition is organized by the company “EuroFitnessGroup” in coordination with:

-the Saint Petersburg Kettlebell Sport Federation;

- RussianGirevoySportFederation;

- International Kettlebell Academy

- Global Association of Kettebell Clubs (GAKC)

HeadJudge: Kirillov Sergey (International-level judge of Russia)

Participants

 

Participation is open to professional, amateur, and veteran athletes of kettlebell sport, and to all federations, unions, associations, countries, communities and clubs which promote kettlebell sport.

  1. Participants may join as part of a club or independently.
  2. Participants will place individually and as part of a team. There is no restriction on the number of participants from each country.
  3. There is no limit on the number of participants from each club. There is no defined team composition. Team placement will be determined by the best resultsof: 5 men (24kg with.5 coefficient or 32kg), 3 women (16kg with.5 coefficient or 24kg), one veteran, one juggler, and one marathon.
  4. Men’s Long Cycle relay: teams of 5, 3 minutes each participant, 24kg kettlebells.) Women’s Long Cycle Relay: teams of 3, 3 minutes each participant, 16kg kettlebell.
  5. First place in an individual event is worth 20 points, second – 18, third – 16, fourth – 12, and for each further place one less point is gained. (fifth-11, sixth-10….etc.)

6. There is no limit on the number of participants from each country in each weight class!
