Laboratory task






5.1 Run the laboratory work number 6 by double-clicking the desktop icon Lab6. There will open a window Introduction to analysis of traffic encapsulation Frame Relay (Introduction to the routes analysis of the multiprotocol traffic of the Frame Relay network).

5.2 Read the introduction to laboratory work, and then click the button «Start» and «Sniffer Expert», to connect the analyzer Sniffer Expert. Screen appears with the title Welcome to Analysis (Welcome to the analysis of technology!). Remember that if you require further clarification, you can click " Help".

 

Notice. To return to the Analysis, click «Exit» (Exit).

 

5.3 Select in the “Office of the analyzer” window command of the request of simple route of multiprotocol traffic in the Frame Relay network - Frame Relay Encapsulation.

Note that the multiprotocol traffic route (route 1) contains an encapsulated messages of different protocols. Write in the protocol of laboratory work high-layer protocols that are used to encapsulate the data sent over the Frame Relay network, uniting LAN.

5.5 Enter a number of a frame route that contains the connection request from the 9943 AS3com device of NetWare network to a remote server named Boomer. Analyze the detailed route messages. Results of the analysis write down into the protocol. To return to the previous window, you must click the button «Preview».

5.6 Enter the number of the frame 3, route 1, which contains the answer to a message 2. Results of the analysis of a frame 3 write down into the protocol.

5.7 Enter a number of frame 24, route 1, in order to analyze the IP protocol encapsulated traffic. Analyze the information contained in the address and information fields of the Frame Relay message. Write down the analysis into the protocol.

5.8 Click on " Home", to go to the home page, then - on the button «ParaScope 2000" to connect the analyzer to the Frame Relay network.

5.9 Choose the command of the request of the detailed Novell NetWare route in the Frame Relay network - Frame Relay Encapsulation Detail. Select the number of frames 1, 13, 27 (Enter them in series, separated by commas.) Write down the analysis of route 4 into the protocol.

5.10 Click the “ОК” button, to close the route 4, and then choose a command of the detailed routes query encapsulated in Frame Relay network of the bridge traffic of Ethernet / SNA - Frame Relay Encapsulation Detail. Select the frames number 7, 8, 9. The analysis of features of five routes write down into the protocol.
