5. Define the infinitives in the functions of a subject, predicative, part of a predicative and object in the following sentences. Translate the sentences into Russian.

 

1. To drive fast in such weather is pretty dangerous. 2. What is more pleasant: to love or to be loved? 3. Her habit is to put five lumps of sugar in her tea. 4. Sociable people are easy to deal with. 5. I asked her to explain everything. 6. It's a funny thing about life: if you refuse to accept anything but the best, you very often get it. 7. 6. Combine the two ideas into one sentence, using verb + (not) + to-infinitive, as in the examples given.
