These days people have ю adapt to the rapidly changing conditions of the labour market. They have, to change their occupations, improve thcii professional skills, often gel the so-called " second higher education" or go abroad to study.

I. First Challenges and Accomplishments

Foreign students studying in advanced industrialised countries very often stay on there. This situation in which a country's most intelligent people go to another country in order to get a better education, to improve their living or working conditions is called " brain drain".

Clerk: Why do you want to enter our college? Have you studied our

course catalogue?

Foreign Student: Yes, 1 have. You are a four-year college, and you are state supported. The tuition fee is reasonable. Everything suits me. Then you have a large foreign community. CL: Oh, yes, we have foreign students. Have you passed the Test of
