Foreword

 

" Guidelines for the integrated appraisal of the objective structured practical examination (OSPE)" considered at the meeting of the department Protocol № ______ from " _____" _________ 201___ y.

 

" Guidelines for the integrated appraisal of the objective structured practical examination (OSPE)" approved at the meeting of the Methodological Council protocol № ____from " ____" _________ 201___ y.

 

INTRODUCTION

 

The list of tasks to assess practical skills includes 6 stages on the main methods and techniques of research in environmental quality, quality of food and their effects on the body, the health of children and adolescents. Each case study focuses on the workplace (station), specially equipped with instruments and situational tickets to perform the appropriate task. The transmission of each station is given five minutes, all the tasks should execute the examinee 30 min.

Evaluation results of the examination conducted by the sum of points received by a student on all 6 stages. As you progress through all the stations examinee must earn a total of 20 points.

Organizational and preparatory activities for the POC:

• determination of the number of students admitted to the exam;

• definition of independent examiners for each phase;

• preparing the audience, the definition of the responsible teacher and a laboratory for conducting certification of skills;

• organization of workplaces, equipment necessary equipment and appliances, clocks control the execution time of each task, etc.;

• organization in the department of information stand at the OSPE;

• Preparation of documentation for the TPES (1-3 applications, questionnaires, reports, exam papers, assignments for students at each stage, the information sheet for the examiner with the evaluation criteria for each job step and point evaluation summary sheet attestation examinee, evaluation criteria OSPE).

INFORMATION FOR examinees

• the exam the student is registered with the Secretary receives the chairman of the task, the summary sheet attestation and starts the job, according to the plan passing phases;

• When performing tasks a student must:

- Observe the sequence of the actions outlined in the criteria;

- Clearly and briefly comment on their actions in the course of performance of tasks;

- Keep track of time allotted to complete the task;

- Observe safety rules and work in sanitary laboratories;

- Observe the rules of work with devices;

• in the quest phase, requiring time for more than 5 minutes, the examinee simulates the execution of subsequent steps, commenting on the details of implementation:

- In the quest phase 1 unit calls and comments on the scope of the proposed instrument;

- When performing tasks Step 2 is conducting a study using the proposed device and commented sanitary status of the various objects (chemical and physical properties of air, water, radiation background of the environment, room lighting for various purposes, including child care);

- When performing tasks Step 3 conducts hygienic assessment of foods (organoleptic properties);

- When performing tasks Step 4 investigates cases of food poisoning, establishes the cause and take measures to prevent the filling act of the investigation;

- When performing tasks Step 5, the determination of the main indicators of physical development of children and adolescents;

- When performing tasks Step 6 evaluates the physical development of children and adolescents and determines the health groups.
