When Ben gets back from vacation, he'll tell Tim all about it and Tim will share his " recycling" experience with him. Look at the pictures. Write what each of them might be saying.

b) Enrich Yourself! WB p. 29 (с)

Translate into English.

1. _ Good morning, Ben. Taking out your recycling, I see?

— Yes, it's Wednesday — a recycling pick-up day. Where are your recycling containers?

— Oh, well, separating out all that garbage is such a headache, I just don't bother with it.

— Tim! It's not that difficult. Even my teenage son separates his trash and you know what a lazybones he is. Recycling programs are very important for the preservation of our environment. You must become en­vironmentally friendly.

— OK, OK.

2. — Who of your friends is the most environment-conscious person?

— I think it's Olena. She is an environmental activist, you know.

— In what project is she taking part now?

— If I'm not mistaken, Olena is passing a campaign against teenage smoking.

3. — There is " poor air quality" in our city.

— Something must be done to preserve an environment.

— As for me, I try to walk more and stimulate my friends to do the

same.

— As for me, I and my family go by bicycle.

— I'm proud of you!

Today the main our aim is to improve grammar skills. We are going to get information about Grammar: The Verbs: make / let. We also put at­tention on training the phonetic skills.

Listen to and read the poem " All for You¹' and practise the sounds /і: /, /б/ and /ом/. Say what the poet challenges in this poem.

Rhyme and Reason. WB p. 33 (a)

Form the rhyming pairs, using the words from the box. Practise saying them.

1) lee — sea; 2) shivers — rivers; 3) flowers — towers; 4) rocks — ock; 5) rain — vain; 6) sunshine — sign; 7) trees — please; 8) blow — snow; 9) branch — anch; 10) blue — you.

Label these pictures with the corresponding lines of the poem " All for you" (p. 80 of your Student's book). Practise saying them with the low-ris­ing tone as numeration.
