Can you give me a recipe of this dish? – Дай мне, пожалуйста, рецепт этого блюда.

Help yourself to the salad. – Берите салат./Угощайтесь.

I could do with another cup of tea. – Я бы выпил еще чашку кофе.

I’d like to have some room for pudding. – Я хочу оставить место для пудинга.

I’m hungry as a hunter. – Я голодный как волк.

I’m supposed to be slimming./ I’m on a diet. – Я худею./ Я на диете.

I’m thirsty. – Пить хочется.

I’ve had enough. – Мне достаточно.

I’ve had too much already. – Я уже слишком много поел.

May I help you to another pie? – Вам положить еще кусочек пирога?

May I have another helping? – Можно мне еще?

Pass me the mustard/pepper/ salt/ sugar/, please. – Передайте, пожалуйста, горчицу/ перец/ соль/сахар.

Mrs.Clark Here you are.

Cindy Thanks. The omelette is pretty good.

Mrs.Clark Would you like coffee or tea?

Cindy Coffee, please.

Mrs.Clark Another slice of bread?

Cindy Yes, please, and I could do with another half cup of coffee.

Mrs.Pino It’s high time to have dinner.

Jordan Yes. I’m hungry as a hunter.

Mrs.Pino So am I. We’ve got your favourite dishes today.

Jordan What are they?

Mrs.Pino For the first course we’ll have beetroot soup and pickled cucumbers with mashed

potatoes for the second.

Jordan And for dessert?

Mrs.Pino Squash with cake.

Jordan It sounds good!
