Assembling automation

Of course there are possible robotic solutions for such a task but not in all cases robots can perform as well as human can. The environment to work in is a highly complicated and there is no fixed patterns in such tasks especially when we are talking about big complex solutions consist of many cubicles with different inner structure and design.

But there are some tools which can help maximize speed and productivity even when no automated solutions can be employed. There are some techniques that can help engineers perform faster and better.

In absolutely most cases installation or wiring engineer deals with any kind of documentation to produce a wired cubicle from separate parts. In most cases such documentation is a printed out electrical layout, diagrams and wiring tables. Modern CAD systems can represent such information in any form we want it. But the printed layout (or picture of this layout on a screen) stays preferable among majority of us.

During the assembling and wiring of a complex system much time is spend for reading those layouts and understanding how to act in accordance with them. How good it would be not to look at the layout after each move but to have the entire picture in your head all the time. But it close to impossible or requires such a huge training and experience! And that the point when technology can help us.
