C) a traffic jam

II. Translate the following text into English using new idioms (there are six idioms here):

Key:

Tomorrow is my wedding day. Tonight I wanted to throw a stag party, but my best friend has some awful teething problems with his dead-end job, I believe. That’s why he can’t be with me today. As for me, I had to do all the donkey work to earn for our wedding as the agency where I work pay me chicken feed. I added to my salary my nest egg. In the end I have enough money.
