Dear Colleagues!

We invite you to take part in the International Scientific - Practical Conference “ The Crimea is in Context of Eastern Europe History from the Ancient Times up to Modern Days”, dedicated to the 10^th anniversary of the History Chair of (SBEEHE RC) State Budgetary Educational Establishment of Higher Education of Republic Crimea “Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University”

The conference will be held in the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University from April, 16 (arrival of participants) to April, 19 (departure of the participants) 2015. Section works-April, 17; April, 18- sightseeing of the monuments of History and Culture of the Crimea.

All specialists in the fields of history, archeology, ethnology, philology, study of local lore, museum management studies, study of literature, researches of educational establishments, researchers of higher educational establishments, achieves, libraries, and museums are invited to take part in the conference.

The aim of the conference: To unite the efforts of scientists of different countries to define the nature of the problems, connected with historic, ethnic, political, social and cultural processes taking place during the long period of time on the territory of the Crimean peninsula.

Thematic fields of work:

· history, ethnography, material and spiritual culture

· archeological investigations

· problems of protection of cultural heritage

· ethno cultural and ethno linguistics problems

· Turkological investigations

In the framework of conference, in case of sufficient number of participants, it is planned having of a Round Table dedicated to the study of Turkic People`s written language monument of the XIV century “Codex Cumanicus” and also of history and archeology of Kipchaks.

Work languages: English, Russian, Crimean Tatar, Turkish

For oral report delivery will be given 20 minutes. Additional sections could be provided in case of necessity.

The materials of the conference will be published in the scientific collection

Registration fee for participation is not be paid.

To a great pity, the organizing committee cannot afford paying for travelling and living expenses of the conference participants.
